“At Whole Purpose Health, we deliver a standard of care for health, not disease, to create a personalized path to sustained vitality. Your health, your purpose, fully realized.”
Meet Dr. Daniel Tagge
Reimagining what modern medicine can be.
Dr. Tagge is a board-certified family medicine physician with a speciality in health optimization medicine (HOMe) and medical acupuncture.
Originally from Charleston, SC and completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Whole Purpose Health is an attempt to shift my medical practice towards health and healing and away from managing disease.
I hope to bridge the gap between west and east, science and spirit, data and intuition, physiology and psychology.
From Burnout to Breakthrough
Like many physicians, I was trained to diagnose and treat disease. But what I kept seeing in my patients—and in myself—was something deeper: people weren’t just “sick,” they were disconnected from themselves, their bodies, their energy and their potential.
That realization led me on a journey through health optimization medicine, clinical metabolomics, Classical Chinese Medicine, acupuncture energetics and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Along the way, I rediscovered something powerful: the body is a self-healing system—if we know how to listen.
Whole Purpose Health is the result of that integration. It’s not about fighting disease. It’s about creating and sustaining the conditions for health to flourish.
Medicine Rooted in Purpose
Your health is a reflection of your energy, your environment, and your connection to what matters most.
You should be testing, not guessing. Don’t just take a supplement because you think you need it. You should test first, duh! Metabolomics is the language that your biology speaks.
Transformation is possible when we support the body at the energetic level.
Medicine should be compassionate, empowering, and aligned with your Whole Purpose.
Outside the Clinic
When I’m not diving deep into biochemistry or holding space for transformation, you’ll find me…
Drinking really good coffee and asking way too many questions
Worshipping my wife, Raelle, and genuinely being grateful for life
Being in the moment with my daughters Charlotte and Juliette
Playing music too loud and dancing wildly
Cooking meals or doing dishes
If you’re ready to understand your body, reclaim your energy, and reconnect with purpose—
I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
Let’s find your best next step.
